October 09 The Field Trip So today was our
team field trip to the Nordic Heritage Ski Center for a tour, team
building activities, and a nature hike. The lodge was amazingly cozy. I
could almost picture myself moving in there. The area outside of the
lodge was great, too. They actually hold the biathlon there. Cool,
right? After the tour, we played some team building activities like triangle tag, "everybody's it", sharks and minnows, and a a game where we had to walk while our feet were "fused" together. It was pretty fun. Lunch was next, and that was all good. Then we went on the nature hike. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We were the only ones on the facility, so it was just our three classrooms and three teachers anywhere within miles and miles of the place. Literally miles and miles, since the trails were several miles long, and so was and sort of civilization. Half-way through the wonderful nature hike, after we went through the regular woods and the "Enchanted Woods", it began to rain. Being the responsible adults they are, Mr. Perault, Mrs. Curtis, and Mrs. Richardson decided that it would be best if we took a short cut out of the woods to get back to the Nordic Heritage Ski Center and get out of the rain faster. Good plan, right? Well things aren't always as easy as they seem. Now this was the first time our grade had ever gone to the Nordic Heritage Ski Center, so our teachers didn't know where any of the trails went. For the past fifteen or so years, they've climbed Quoggy Joe, but this year they decided to do something different. We got lost. Seriously. Where we ended up actually was off the map. We had to walk FOREVER through fields, four-wheeler trails, and even a golf course until we finally found a road and waited for the bus to come get us. I am so ridiculously tired that it's not even funny. Even my Mountain Dew Revolution isn't helping. And the fact that my legs are still extremely sore from running the mile yesterday didn't help, either. Oh, and did I mention that I had to carry my backpack on my back the entire time, too? PLUS Elyse and Danae drank all of my water after I only had one sip. But I really shouldn't be complaining. Corlyn had it the worst out of the entire team. See, even though she's twelve, she has arthritis in her knees. Yeah, I think you get where I'm going with this. More news...oh, yes. I think Chaya might have a stalker, and I'm not joking at all. I logged on today so I could write this blog, and saw that I had THIRTEEN views of my profile, for just today. Obviously, that caught my attention. So like anyone would, I clicked on it to see what and when they viewed my profile. It's very convenient, since you can even click on the link the person used to find your profile. Someone searched Chaya's full name, which I will not give away, TWICE on Google. As if that weren't suspicious enough, the person also searched through every one of my photo albums, some more than once, and through my updates. Whoever you are, person who is searching for Chaya, just know that you are very stupid. Very, very stupid. I mean, we're talking lighting yourself on fire to keep yourself warm stupid. Honestly, I don't why you're checking up on my best friend. Whatever your reason, just know that I know my way around computers and can check up on whatever you are doing. Msn is nice like that, and so are many other programs. Don't believe me? Then that's your problem. Go fall in a hole and die. That is unless you are actually a student at our school. Then I might reconsider. Maybe. -MaRiNa TrackbacksThe trackback URL for this entry is: http://marina-shaw.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!F6340A4E41058459!375.trak Weblogs that reference this entry
